The Old Testament Pseudepigrapha in Paperback!

The people at Hendrickson have done it again! The two volume hardback edition of James H. Charlesworth’s Old Testament Pseudepigrapha (Doubleday) is prohibitively expensive, at least for students on tight budgets. I know mine cost me just under $100 together. But Hendrickson is putting out a paperback copy of both volumes this February. I typically make a point of linking to books at Eisenbrauns (and they will be distributing these volumes), but in this case I must make an exception. Christian Book Distributors is offering both volumes together for $39.99! These volumes are being sold together by Eisenbrauns for the competitive price of $39.87!! This is excellent, insofar as these important texts will now be made available to a much wider audience.

Also if you are not aware, Jim Davila is working alongside Richard Bauckham on The More Old Testament Pseudepigrapha Project. It will serve as a supplement to, not an update of, the Charlesworth volumes. Find out more about it here.
